Israel kills, and the New York Times provides justifications
“A Palestinian militant was killed on Thursday in an Israeli airstrike, according to Israeli officials.” Notice that the reporter did not examine the dead to verify militancy, but the Israeli officials willingly provided categorization of the dead.
