Disgrace of Lebanon
Two Ethiopian maids were reported to have killed themselves (by hanging with a cable). These were two different cases in two different cities and Lebanese police (within hours) ruled that both killed themselves because they did not receive letters from the families that they missed back home. I kid you not.
