Look at this headline in the New York Times. Only the New York Times can make violations of international law as acts of charity. “Israel Approves Home Building in West Bank.” You read it and almost want to say: how nice. How compassionate.

As for as the New York Times is concerned, the Palestinians (or Arabs and Muslims in general) are always a bulk. Never to be counted, even as innocent civilians. “A subsequent Israeli air and ground campaign in Gaza left more than 120 Palestinians, including many civilians, and 2 Israeli soldiers dead.”

Fallon’s resignation has more to do with his interview on AlJazeera Arabic TV than with the profile in Esquire magazine, in my opinion. I saw that interview and he sounded visibly annoyed with Bush’s war scenarios against Iran. Somebody find the transcript. Oh, and find it NOW.
