“Authorities in the United Arab Emirates uncovered the biggest prostitution network in the Gulf region and arrested more than 300 members, all East Asian, who ran 22 brothels in the Gulf emirate.” As for the brothels that are run by Europeans and Lebanese, they were kept under the protection of the royal family.
