“But the robbers were said to have stolen only $1,500. Was that worth this massacre?”…This is the same Saad Hariri whom at least one American reporter – I refer to Seymour Hersh – suggested was indirectly helping to funnel Saudi money to these same gunmen in a recent article in The New Yorker. The Shia [...]

“The US Army tried to kill or capture Muqtada al-Sadr, the widely revered Shia cleric, after luring him to peace negotiations at a house in the holy city of Najaf, which it then attacked, according to a senior Iraqi government official.”But the question is this: why is the chief security puppet of occupation, Muwaffaq Ar-Rubay`i [...]

“After an initially tepid reception from policymakers, the recommendations of the Iraq Study Group are getting a second look from the White House and Congress, as officials continue to scour for bipartisan solutions to salvage the American engagement in Iraq.”

I read about the new embassy and I am convinced that this embassy plan was part of the same plan of those who designed the “sweets and flowers” scenario. It seems to me that the developments since the war have rendered this embassy plan obsolete: “It will cover 104 acres (42 hectares) of land, about [...]

Ali Ibrahim forgot to add that many of the members of Fath-Al-Islam are neither Palestinians nor Syrians but Saudis. The majority of the those arrested in the `Ayn `Alaq case were Saudis.

Her brother was killed by Israeli occupation troops in the Jabalya refugee camp in Gaza.

You can’t say that the Arab League does not speak for the Arab people. I mean, just this week the Arab League office in New York held a special dinner in honor of Zalmay Khalilzad. And you probably know how dear Khalilzad is to the hearts and minds of Arabs everywhere.

There is some important information in this article (I don’t have time to summarize for you–what? You want a smoothie too?), and it said that “most” of the fighters against the Lebanese Army were…LEBANESE from North Lebanon and that some of them are from groups close to Hariri camp.

The Fath official in North Lebanon spoke to LBC-TV (yes, he selected the TV station of the killers of Sabra and Shatila to make his point) and expressed the willingness of Fath to join the fight on the side of the Lebanese Army. I mean, are you surprised? The Fath of Abu Mazen and Dahlan [...]

You can watch Hariri TV sometimes. I do. Today, I watched the correspondent of Hariri TV in North Lebanon, Rashid Fatfat (I am not making this up), and he was gleefully reporting that a group of “people” from Tripoli gathered and chanted “Abu Baha’ (in reference to Rafiq Hariri) and Sa`d (in reference to mini-Hariri). [...]

You may look it up. Hariri rag yesterday reported that a bank was robbed in North Lebanon, and that the robbers are members of Fath-Al-Islam. If this was true, why did the Lebanese government not make a statement to that effect yesterday. And why did the government not follow them if they knew who they [...]

Is it not ironic today to hear Lebanese Forces leaders (leaders of the group of the killers (along with Israeli supervisors) of Sabra and Shatila victims) state that Fath-Al-Islam is not “working for the Palestinian cause. The killers of Sabra and Shatila are now the judges of what is and what is not helpful for [...]

I have never seen a Lebanese “politician”–if that what we can call mini-Hariri (can you imagine his status if he were say to lose his wealth? How many supporters would he retain?)–as blatantly sectarian as mini-Hariri is since the days of Pierre Gemayyel (the grandfather). Today, he said that “we will not allow Fath Al-Islam [...]

“The Shin Bet security service believes it is within its charter to carry out surveillance operations, such as phone taps, on individuals deemed as “conducting subversive activity against the Jewish identity of the state,” even if their actions are not in violation of the law.” (thanks Jamal)

Kuwait’s Ministry of Information bans (and then unbans) book by Ibn Baz (the spiritual guide of House of Saud AND of Bin Ladne). To see the word ban in the same sentence with Ibn Baz is quite ironic because he banned even photography–among many other things.

Did you see Bashir Gemayyel’s widow, Solange, on Aljazeera? When you hear her racist anti-Syrian (people) and anti-Palestinian (people) words just remember that Hizbullah had a candidate on the same Hariri list for that electoral district in Beirut.

We don’t know who is behind the explosion in East Beirut tonight. But we know that the fanatical gangs that tried to set Ashrafiyyah on fire, and which attacked churches, last year were all supporters of Hariri who were bused in from North Lebanon. They were part of a Hariri-funded, and orchestrated demonstration against….Danish cartoons. [...]

After `Abdul-`Aziz Al-Hakim, Jalal Talbani has been flown into the US for hopitalization. What is going on? A reunion for puppets of occupation? But Hakim, the religious fanatic that he is, abruptly left the US and went to Iran to “continue his treatment.” I bet that he does not trust his health to “infidels.”

New TV correspondent, Firas Hatum, reported that the Nahr Al-Barid refugee camp is in need of bread and water. Apparently, the Lebanese Army deals with the camps in the same manner in which Israeli and their surrogate militias dealt with the camps in Lebanon. Let us not forget that the Lebanese Army pounded the Tal [...]
