Apparently, Egyptian long-serving Minister of Culture, Faruq Husni, got his job because years ago when he was a cultural attache in Rome, he had taken Suzanne Mubarak around and showed her the city. She enjoyed that tour, and made him a Minister. More on the hiring practicing of Arab governments later.
