Those “leaders” of Muslim and Arab American organizations in Washington, DC: in whose name do they speak? “Ibrahim Hooper, national communications director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a civil rights and advocacy organization, said Israel was using disproportionate force in its battle with Hezbollah”. Look at that statement. Look at the language used. I [...]

The discussion is now about who won and who lost. If you really want to know the answer to that: just see the Israeli press, the Zionist propaganda media, and the fanatics in the comments’ section of this site. They are pretty angry, are they not? They are quite frustrated and disoriented. They are fulminating [...]

Bush just promised to continue to support “reformers” in the Middle East. Dear Americans: these are America’s reformers in the Middle East: House of Saud, Hariri Inc and Walid Jumblat, warlords in Somalia, Tunisian dictator, Husni Mubarak, the mukhabrat royal family of Jordan, House of Sabbah, and the gangs of Dahlan. Enjoy reform.

I just watched Bush’ press conference. Of this, I am convinced. If you put a tomato in the Oval Office for 6 years, the tomato will show more evidence of knowledge and awareness of world affairs than George W. Bush after more than 6 years in office. I mean that. Oh, and the tomato would [...]

You read this on the first page of Al-Hayat. Saudi Prince Khalid Bin Sultan (deputy Minister of Defense–his dad): “the Saudi armed forces have reached levels that we all are proud of.”

“The Lebanese were angry that the United States administration appeared to be heartless during four weeks of Israeli attacks that killed 1,000 citizens, wounded 4,000, and displaced 1 million people. The economic dimensions of the catastrophe were as devastating to Lebanon as the human loss: After 17 years and tens of billions of dollars in [...]

OK: can you kindly ask the UN to ask the Israeli government to return the Lebanese grocer, Hasan Dib Nasrallah, back to his family in Ba`lbak? We promise if they do to stop mocking Israeli commando raids. (Oh, no we will not.)

AlJazeera interviewed a Hizbullah fighter in `Ayta Ash-Sha`b. He reported to viewers his reaction and the reactions of fellow fighters to Israeli soldiers. Israeli soldiers would run like “sheep,” he said, and they would often scream loudly when they would come under Hizbullah fire. Apparently, the fighters were surprised by that. Tom Hayden, unlike in [...]

Justification-of-war-crimes award should really go to the New York Times. They really have done their best during this war. Under this picture they printed this caption: “Israel bombed targets in southern Beirut on Sunday, killing at least 25 civilians and 4 soldiers, according to reports.” Notice that they always say “targets.” Ya. I saw the [...]

I expect better from the Economist. In the last issue, they have some analysis of the Shi`ite situation. And who did they base their impressions of Shi`ite on? Michael Husayn Young. I don’t know who their Beirut correspondent is, but maybe he/she should get out of Jummayzah.
