“Earlier, at least 16 civilians were killed after a bomb flattened a building near the southern Lebanese town of Tyre. Five members of one family were killed in a strike in Aitaroun. All were visiting expatriate Lebanese who held Canadian citizenship. Around 140 Lebanese civilians have been killed so far.”

There has been some 637 attacks on Palestinians in Iraq since the US war on Iraq. Many are at the hands of the Sh`ite sectarian militias working hand-in-hand with the occupation forces.

One Lebanese newspaper reported that the Lebanese Army has enough ammunition for one day. And you want the defense of Lebanon to be in the hands of those clowns who only used their power against the Palestinians (they even bombed camps from the air in 1973)?

Do you count that? The New York Times and US media make a piont of counting every missile that falls on Israel. By yesterday, the number of Israeli air raids, RAIDS not missiles, on Lebanon was 1350.

Finally. Israeli occupation troops were able to bomb the Hizbullah militia leader who is responsible for sending missiles on Haifa. Don’t be surprised if the Nation magazine celebrates this hit as a victory for Israel’s “absolute security.”
