Arab governments not only enjoy being humiliated by the US: but they even invite humiliation at the hand of the US government to show their submission: “Arab-owned firm bows to pressure to sell off US port operations”
You read the headline (“Abu Ghraib, symbol of America’s shame, to close within three months”) and then you read this: “4,500 inmates to be moved to other jails.” So what is the significance of this closure? Who is this going to impress? I mean outside of the US media and public opinion?
