Unfortunately, I am a vegetarian. But I am curious about the newly advertised Burger King’s Chicken Fries. Has anybody tried them? Let me know. They look deliciously intriguing. (No, this is NOT a paid advertisement–I just saw them on TV).

I was looking for the oldest house in the old section in Zahlah. This man stopped me and asked why I would not take his picture. I said: “You are right. Why would I not take your picture.” And there was this picture. (Notice the baladi eggplants to his immediate right).

US government must be so pleased with Al-Arabiyya TV. The other day, Al-Arabiyya repeatedly aired training footage by Al-Qa`idah, in which trainees railed against the US, and threatened violence.
