When I was a graduate student, I wrote a critical book review of Fouad Ajami’s book, The Vanished Imam, in Merip. To this very day, fanatical Zionist groups still bring that up. It bothered them that much. I should write more reviews of Ajami’s writing but he has not said anything new since.

I have never been a fan of George Galloway. Regardless whether he took a bribe from Saddam or not, he did praise Saddam and never uttered a word against his dictatorship.
