“An Iraqi girl screamed Tuesday after her parents were killed when American soldiers fired on their car when it failed to stop, despite warning shots, in Tal Afar, Iraq.” The picture and caption are from the inside pages of today’s New York Times. How did the New York Times know that warning shots were fired? [...]

This is Zionism: The Israeli “government implemented the Absentee Property Law in East Jerusalem last July, contrary to Israeli government policy since Israeli law was extended to East Jerusalem after the Six Day War. The law means that thousands of Palestinians who live in the West Bank will lose ownership of their property in East [...]

This Washington Post’s editorial has noticed the obvious. Husni Mubarak, trying to serve a 6th consecutive term, is trying to please the US: “In recent weeks, Mr. Mubarak has warmed his relations with Israel’s Ariel Sharon, encouraged Palestinian militants to declare a cease-fire and supported Sunni participation in Iraq’s upcoming elections.”

A Man from the Stone Age Speaks: thus Spoke the Mufti of Saudi Arabia. He condemned the “false slogans of defence of the rights of men.” But he has been consistent in his support for the violations of human rights, and book burning. He is a big fan of book burning in fact. And remember: [...]

Angry Thoughts: I heard parts of Condoleezza Rice’s testimony in Congress. Whenever I read in the press that a government official will be facing “tough†questioning on the Hill, I immediately expect kid-gloves treatment from the unimpressive bunch of the US senate. You see tough questioning in the Canadian parliament or the UK House of [...]

This is Israel: “Israeli banks holding assets from European Jews killed in the Holocaust failed to make a determined effort to return the holdings to their heirs, and when they were returned, they were not returned at their proper value.”

Foreign fighters in Iraq: I am for the expulsion of all foreign fighters from Iraq. And I mean all foreign fighters, and that includes the Americans and the others (I would keep the 38 Macedonian soldiers because they have proven that they are vital for the security of Iraq). Have you noticed that when they [...]
