The U.S. military has investigated the deaths of 25 prisoners held by American forces in Iraq and Afghanistan and determined that two prisoners were murdered by Americans, one an Army soldier and the other a CIA contractor, Army officials said on Tuesday.

I heard Sen. Hillary Clinton criticizing the recent torture of Iraqi prisoners as “ineffective”. I wonder if she will be working on legislation for more effective torture techniques.

I should note that some of the pictures circulating on Arab websites (ostensibly) showing torture and rape of Iraqi prisoners are fake (like the ones on AlWafd’s website). Some have sent me those pictures, and I of course will not use them, and this is why.
